Things that define me: Woman, Mother, Professional, Writer, Voracious Reader, optimist, ambitious, passionate, motivated, Taurean, Good friend and I have been told I am a hard nut to crack. I also act as Glucon D and Chawanprash to some friends and family….

Since you must be wondering what that means, I like to bring out the best in people whether its friends, family or people who work for me. I believe everyone has something special in them, that one characteristic which is going to help one sail through life successfully. One has to recognize that and build the strategy around it. Over the course of my professional career I realized there are people especially women, who require that extra push, that nudge from someone they believe in, to overcome their inertia. I found a bunch who had stopped aspiring to reach their full potential professionally and personally. I realized the act of motivating these people to bring out their best and be their best very gratifying.

So here I am to share my ideas, beliefs, outlook and sometimes information which many of you might find interesting and start looking at things in a different light.

Ms Soumya Das has around 1.5 decades of work experience. She specializes in Architecture, Planning, Construction Technology, Innovative products handling and Management and Strategic Alliances. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from C.E.T, Bhubaneswar; Master’s degree in Environment Planning from School of Planning and Architecture (SPA), Delhi and Strategic Management from IIM, Calcutta.

Besides founding Aarka Technology, she is also the founder Director of Aarka Sports Management Pvt Ltd. She is also a Director in Rudrabhishek Infosystem Pvt Ltd. She is advisor to Managing Directors and CEO’s of a number of companies.

She has handled projects of diverse nature like Planning, GIS, Architecture, Software deployment and implementation. Many completed projects include U.P. Sub-regional Plans, Master Plans, Redevelopment Plans, Hitech Township projects, Integrated Township projects, GIS enabled data management applications, Contact Center Services, and other projects using AR-VR technologies, Strategic alliance with International companies etc.

She is a writer and motivational speaker too.

She is a lifetime member of Council of Architecture and Institute of Town Planners.
